Vortext not downloading mods

Ever since I updated Fallout 4 Vortex stopped putting deployed mods into the Plugins list. I'll download and deploy the mod but it's missing from the plugins and won't work in-game. Before you can mod Fallout 4 you need to modify the Archive section of the game's configuration files to allow mods to run in the game. Don't panic, you must do this in order to mod your game.

This is what you need to edit: You need to add the following lines to the Fallout4Prefs. Vortex deploys the mods you enable in your fallout dir, there is top right a message if it should deploy as far as i remember.

That means you have a download dir, but the deploy is as far as i remember the game folder. I didn't like Vortex and installed mod organizer 2 which is in my eyes far more user friendly and easier. Still not working, I restored everything, did the steps from esbvb09 and can install the full dialogue lines mod. I tried mod organizer and found vortex to be a little more user friendly. The apply button was disabled initially, like the deployment method had already been applied, but still I couldn't deploy mods thanks to a deployment method not available error or whatever, but after changing the method in the drop-down menu to something else and then back seemed to reenable the apply button.

Then I clicked apply and deploying mods worked. Still haven't seen if mods actually loaded in game but at least it got rid of the red rectangle in the menu. Hello, im HezrouGaming, i own a Dell Disidion , and use windows Whenever i try to download something through vortex via the nexus mod website, i get the notification to open the windows website for an app, and ignores the vortex app.

I Hope this is enough info to try and fix this, and if you can reach out to me, please do. I can't download nexus files through Vortex. It seems the files aren't being sent to Vortex. I have had to manually download all mods everything seems to be working on the browser side when i click the link i see the link appear in the bottom left then nothing happens.

Vortex download link does not work, neither does copying the link to paste into downloads. I recently imported mods from the old Nexus Mod Manager program into Vortex, and when I went to update the mods that needed updating, it would not download through Vortex and I instead have to download it Manually.

Try to DL mods, windows alert popup says I need an App to open nxm file and I have Vortex open at the time and logged in. I am able to log in vortex via nexus website, however when i try to download a mod i get a message saying i need to download an app from the app store.

Up unitl two days ago it worked fine. Whenever I hit a vortex download link, it wants to open the old nmm. So I uninstalled that. Now when I try to hit the download links, it just doesn't give me any option at all, instead the windows prompt tells me to find an app.

EG: I attempted to download the Armor and Weapons Keywords mod and when the download window appeared after pressing "download with NMM" link the dialogue box prompting me to select a program appeared but only gave me the option to find a program in the Windows App Store. Anytime I tell the Nexus page to download with mod manager, it tells me that I need a new app to do so.

There is a screenshot of what happens. I click vortex on the download for mods on nexus and it dosent start downloading them on vortex so i have to manualy download them to add them to the client which takes more time than downloading them.

Every time i try to download a mod from nexus, it wont let me use the mod manager, it does nothing for whatever reason. I dont know what to do, please help.
